Basketball

The East Valley Community Center is home to the City of Escondido's indoor basketball programming. The Gymnasium at the EVCC features two full court basketball courts with dividing screen and is available to rent for Tournaments, Games and Practices. Along with rentals, the City hosts  round Open Gym and Youth Basketball League opportunities with the Police Athletics League (P.A.L.)

Volunteers are needed for coaches, assistant coaches, and scorekeepers. Apply to be a Volunteer.

Season Information:

Practices:

D Division (7 & 8 years) Tuesdays from 6-7 p.m.

C Division (9 & 10 years) Tuesdays from 7-8 p.m.

B Division (11 & 12 years) Thursdays from 6-7 p.m.

A Division (13 & 14 years) Thursdays from  7-8 p.m..

Games:

Games will be held on Saturday mornings at the East Valley Community Center, 2245 East Valley Parkway, Escondido 92027.

Season Dates:

March 14 - June 6, 2026

Assessments:

D division- Saturday, February 21 from 8:30-9:15 a.m.

C division- Saturday, February 21 from 9:30-10:15 a.m.

B division- Saturday, February 28 from 8:30-9:15 a.m.

A division- Saturday,February 28 from 9:30-10:15 a.m.
