Pickleball

The City of Escondido is home to a thriving Pickleball Community. We are proud to be able to offer a variety of workshops, classes, leagues, and tournaments. For more information about these check out our recreation guide or registration page.

Outdoor Courts

Outdoor courts are available at a first come first serve basis during normal hours of park operation at the following locations:

  • Mountain View Park (no lights, must bring your own net)                                                                                                                                              Know before you go!
  • Washington Park (4 lighted courts, must bring your own net)
  • Kit Carson Park (no lights) 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Note: you must check out a net at the Escondido Sports Center or bring your own to play on. For more information call 760-839 -5425.

Indoor Pickleball

  • Indoor Pickleball sessions are also available 3 days a week at the East Valley Community Center.
  • Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Hours are subject to change so please check the open gym schedule before you plan your day
  • Fee: $5 each session or purchase a Punch Pass for 10 visits for $40.

Tennis Court Locations

Kit Carson Park

  • 3333 Bear Valley Parkway
  • 10 courts (4 lighted courts)
  • 7 am to 9:30 pm

Mountain View Park

Washington Park

  • 501 North Rose Street
  • 4 courts (lights available)

Available for free drop-in play on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are limited to league play and approved lessons. To reserve court space for league play please email Parks and Recreation. 

Lessons are available year-round with the City of Escondido. Register online today!

Badminton

Badminton Courts are available at the East Valley Community Center during select Open Gym hours. Please be sure to check the Open Gym Schedule and call ahead to reserve court space.
